Attractions

The Kettler Iceplex provides public skating, as well as figuire skating and hockey for both young and old. Ballston hosts the annual Taste of Arlington, which is usually held the third Saturday of May and an all day event with over 50 restaurants and numerous vendors. Ticket sales for this event raise funds for several area charities. There is something there for everyone and a fun day. There are several parks and fields, bike paths and jogging trails. Ballston Mall offers retail shopping as well as retaurants and a movie theater.
 

Transportation

There easy access to I-66, Major Roads, buses, 2 metro rails, Ballston-MU and VirginiaSquare (located on the Orange and Silver Lines), Bike Share are located throught Ballston. Commuter buses include Metro Buses as well as the Arlington Transit Buses. For those that want to get rid of their cars all togethe and just rent car when needed there is Zipcar at Ballston Metro.
